". . . eh?"
That's the first idea I put to this image when I first saw it. It seems like something's caught Mu's eye . . . I wonder what it is . . . >///< Aha! My first vector after a long vector-absence. . . . See, I had a trial program, but, when that trial expired . . . (The only problem is, the instruction manual for it . . . is so long . . .) This particular image was absolute hell for me to do--though it wont be last one that will, I imagine. Well, when vectoring this, I had to keep the book I scanned from open in my lap so I could cross-check/cross-reference and constantly tweak everything. I'm serious. All the lines (that aren't outlines) are eyed-out by me, same with a lot of the detailed highlights and shadows. They werent clear enough for me to trace, no matter what I did, so I had to copy from the source. I would have had this finished sooner, but the *eyes* . . . I had the same "having to guess" problem. I re-did them a few times, since, well, expression is everything with this picture . . . No? I think they came out quite alright, if I may say so myself. Especially since my only other attempt at vectoring eyes . . . Sorry about the background . . . dark blue may not have been the best choice, but . . . I like it . . . --- Mu LaFlaga, the Hawk of Endymion from Gundam SEED. The scan I vectored from [link] is from the Hisashi Hirai artbook I bought on my recent outing to Japan. I dedicate this vector to *MapleRose , since, well, she was kinda the reason I got into vectoring! I thought this 'gift' would fit, no? |

Yes, Mwu in pilot suit with the collar open = me
Hehe, the expression looks awesome
Wow, your vectoring has improved so much! I like those outlines (they look like they took forever...) I don't mind the background (it's agreed that blue suits him, right?), though I think his name looks kinda squished there (making the bottom look 'heavier' than the top).
aww, for me?
Oops, I think I used too many emoticons

Thanks.
(I know, his name looks a bit squished, but honestly, where else could the name have gone without offsetting any 'balance'? It fit there by accident, actually . . . the sizing and such . . . Though, I did want to include his nickname, too . . . But didnt have space.--Thinking back on it, I probably could have made space.)
Ah, the lines . . . Actually, they didnt take that long at all, they really helped me smooth out the vector itself, allowing me to know exactly where to tweak everything!
You're welcome!

ah I'm usually too lazy to do outlines
